Where to Start - The Basics of Good Genealogy Research

 Jane Haldeman, co-owner of It's Relative and a speaker at the recent Federation of Genealogical Societies conference held in Springfield, IL. will be at the Library to present “Where to Start- The Basics of Good Genealogy Research”.

This lecture will teach you about the first steps for gathering information about your family and how to record that information.  You will learn about the many records and resources available and where to begin looking. If you are interested in beginning the search for your family’s roots or just want to refresh your skills this is the lecture for you.
