Explicit Pics, Trespassing: La Grange Police
Someone online threatened a resident that explicit photos would be shared, authorities said.

LA GRANGE, IL – In the last few days, La Grange police handled cases involving explicit photos, trespassing, theft and a car burglary. Here is information from the latest La Grange police reports:
Explicit photos
- A resident in the 900 block of Sixth Avenue told police July 19 that someone online threatened to share explicit photos if the resident didn't pay him. The resident sent no money.

- A 42-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 3:30 a.m. July 21 in the 600 block of South Edgewood on a trespassing charge. He was arrested 10 days earlier on a battery charge at Nonna's Pizza, 42 S. La Grange Road. Patch has filed a public records request for the reports in both incidents.
Theft
- A wallet containing identification cards, credit cards and $100 in cash was stolen from a resident at Aspired Living of La Grange assisted living facility, 35 Shawmut Ave. The victim did not sign a complaint. The report was filed July 12.
- A package of cigarettes was stolen from Walgreens, 2 N. La Grange Road. The report was filed July 13.
- An unlocked bicycle valued at $800 was stolen last Thursday in a yard in the 100 block of South Sunset Avenue. An investigation continues.
- Someone was seen stealing solar-powered landscape lights about 1 p.m. July 24 at Sunset Avenue and 47th Street. When questioned, the person said he found them on the ground. The lights were returned to the owner. No complaint was signed.

- Surveillance video shows a suspect, dressed all in black with a cloth covering on his head, riding a bicycle about 5 a.m. July 24 in the 1500 block of West 41st Street. He approached a parked car and opened the door. He searched the car before riding away. Nothing was stolen.
