Frankfort Garden Walk
Self-Paced Garden Walk on Saturday, June 30 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
A Self-Paced Garden Walk will be held in Frankfort on Saturday, June 30, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. There will be 7 to 10 gardens featured. Stroll through the gardens and feel free to ask questions of the homeowners present in the yards. Be inspired by the native plantings, use of art in the garden, or how to go totally organic in a suburban lot. Organic gardening means you won't use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. In order to get the best results with an organic garden, you'll want to make sure the soil is properly conditioned. Healthy soil helps build up strong, productive plants. Organic gardeners will explain what plants work best in your garden. Tickets are $20. All proceeds will benefit the Conservation Foundation.
Tickets are available at Evilena’s Red Dresser or online. Call 815.464.2668 to purchase tickets, or you can buy tickets in the store.
Stop in at Evilena's Red Dresser at 10:00 am to receive your map for the day. Coffee and pastries available at the store to get you started, and refreshments served in the afternoon to finish off your day. Evilena's Red Dresser is located at 20887 S La Grange Rd, Frankfort, Illinois 60423.
