Join Streetz Artz Alliance and Imperial Oak Brewing for the very first Crafted at the Oak: Metal, Magic &amp; Mystery Market on Sunday, August 16, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Imperial Oak Brewing in Willow Springs.
This is a brand-new market concept, and we're excited to bring it to life. The lineup brings together artists, makers, creators, collectors, and small businesses with a focus on metal-inspired artwork, fantasy creations, handcrafted goods, gaming, music, collectibles, vintage finds, and plenty of unexpected surprises.
The Mystery part is exactly that. As the lineup comes together, we're expecting some unusual and interesting additions along the way. You may find rare plants, vintage treasures, unusual handmade pieces, collectibles, records, artwork, and other one-of-a-kind finds. Even we won't know exactly what will be waiting for you until the final lineup is complete.
With more than 40 participating artists and makers, there will be plenty to explore throughout the afternoon. Grab a craft beer from Imperial Oak, enjoy food from Pizza 750 and Jarochitos Food Truck, and spend a Sunday discovering something different from a great collection of local creators.
This is the first-ever Crafted at the Oak: Metal, Magic &amp; Mystery Market, so we're making it something special.

Come check out this FREE benefit concert in loving memory of Hayden C. Miles! 2026's eighth annual Strike a Chord will take place on Saturday, August 22nd, from 6:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. at the Memorial Park Amphitheater in La Grange Park, Illinois.Enjoy the performing bands and donate what you can to support Merit School of Music, a place that removes barriers to high-quality music education so that all children can experience the transformative power of music. The concert is open to the public and will be sponsored by A Sound Education, a music store in Brookfield, Illinois that not only sells instruments and gear, but offers lessons and repair services.To give a little bit more information about the event, Hayden was a young man in the community who went to Lyons Township High School. He was a kind and talented individual involved in many different activities, including Boy Scouts, archery, and band. He participated in concert band, marching band, pep band, jazz band, and pit orchestra, and was well known for his skill. After Hayden passed away in March of 2018, the first Strike a Chord for Hayden C. Miles Benefit Concert was planned and executed in August of 2019. The goal of these concerts is to set aside time to be together, listen to great music, help others, and remember Hayden. In honor of Hayden's love of music, all proceeds from each concert are donated to charities that support accessible music education, such as Merit School of Music, this year's beneficiary.Thank you, and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
