Garbage Pickup Times Change Over Holidays In La Grange

LA GRANGE, IL — The garbage hauler in La Grange is changing its times for trash collection for the upcoming holidays. Republic Services will have modified refuse-recycling pickup dates during the weeks of Nov. 25, Dec. 23 and Dec. 30 for the residents south of 47th Street.

Modified holiday refuse pick up dates for residents south of 47th are as follows: Friday, Nov. 29; Friday, Dec. 27; Friday and Jan. 3. Refuse collection for residents north of 47th Street will be unchanged from the regular pickup dates of Nov. 25, Dec. 23 and Dec. 30.

Holiday trees will be collected on Jan. 6, Jan. 10, Jan. 13 and Jan. 16. Republic Services has also provided a list of holiday items that can be recycled or reused in the village's curbside collection program.
