As with all Theater at the Center productions, the Chicago-area’s finest artists are on stage and behind the scenes. Dennis Kelly, Ami Silvestri and Adria Dawn bring their own interpretations to the classic roles of Norman, Ethel and Chelsea. The story begins with Norman and Ethel arriving at their vacation home for their 48th annual visit. Their peaceful visit in interrupted with their daughter and her fiancée drop by to leave her son with Norman and Ethel.
On Golden Pond is the story of generations coming together, but it’s also a story about how what we have in common is so much larger than our differences. The beloved story is appropriate for all ages.
