GPS Leads Driver Onto La Grange Tracks: Cops
The driver faced a number of charges afterward, police said.
LA GRANGE, IL – A driver turned onto railroad tracks in La Grange on Thanksgiving because of an error on the driver's GPS unit, police said.
Police helped the driver get off the tracks. The incident was shortly after midnight near Burlington and Kensington avenues, police said.
The driver, a 30-year-old Chicago man, was charged with no valid driver's license, improper lane usage and operation of an uninsured car.
