The H Foundation will host their first block party to raise money for basic science research at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehen

The event will feature fun for the entire family

The H Foundation will host their first block party to raise money for basic science research at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University on Saturday, August 26 from 5 PM to 11 PM in downtown La Grange in the Horton’s Home Lighting parking lot at 60 South La Grange.

The event will feature fun for the entire family with a live performance by The Chicago 6 Band featuring members from the '85 Bears (Dan Hampton, Steve McMichael and Glen Kozlowski), Kids’ Zone play area, a screening of the 1985 classic Back to the Future. Participating food vendors include: Q-BBQ, Hot Dog & Burger Co., Cold Stone Creamery, and Pies By Fasano. Food, beer, and wine will be available for purchase. There will also be a Lemonade for Cancer stand.

“We are proud to bring an H Foundation event back to our community in La Grange,” said John Rot Executive Board President of The H Foundation. “This is truly a fun event for the whole family with live music, local cuisine, Kids’ Zone play area, and of course a classic movie all for a great cause finding a cure for cancer.”
