Home Helpers of Hinsdale Retains A+ Status

The Home Care Standards Bureau has again recognized Home Helpers of Hinsdale as an A+ rated company.

HCSB awards its A+ rating only to those home care companies that demonstrate superior ethics while meeting or exceeding the bureau’s stringent industry standards, including extensive background checks and annual training for all caregivers, proper insurance and licensing, regular disclosure statements and additional safety and quality care standards. A+ rated agencies are also subject to planned and surprise audits by HCSB to ensure continuous standards compliance.

In 2014, Home Helpers of Hinsdale became the first home care company in the Chicago area to achieve A+ status. The company remains one of a select few to obtain the HCSB recognition.

Owner Mary Doepke, RN, said the HCSB designation is a direct result of her company’s commitment to quality care.

“We carefully select our caregivers, who undergo extensive background checks and training that exceeds the state minimum requirements,” Doepke said. “Our company’s only goal is to provide our clients and their loved ones with the best, most compassionate care.”
