Interfaith Partners Benefit Raises $20,000

Interfaith Community Partners Fall Benefit attracted many supporters for its work serving older adults and persons with disabilities

Over 125 people enjoyed an evening of food, drink, live music, dancing, and entertainment at the 14th Annual Fall Benefit for Interfaith Community Partners. Held Sept. 23 in the Terrace Room of the William Tell Holiday Inn, Countryside, the Nick Pontarelli Band recalled the hits of Frank Sinatra, Frankie Valli, and Neal Diamond. Additional entertainment during the cocktail hour was a performance by the “Healing Notes”, a Loyola medical students singing group. Rounding out the evening’s festivities, a silent auction and a paddle raise helped the organization raise over $20,000 to support its work providing transportation for older adults and persons with disabilities to attend medical appointments, meetings, and special events. This physical and emotional support allows older adults the chance to continue their stay in family homes.
