Jewelry Stolen In La Grange Park Burglary: Police

Someone broke into a house in a local neighborhood, authorities said.

LA GRANGE PARK, IL – Jewelry was stolen overnight Monday in the burglary of a house in La Grange Park, local police said.

The burglary took place between 6:30 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of North Kensington Avenue, police said.

According to a news release, someone broke into the house by breaking out the glass of a rear sliding door.

The investigation continues, police said.

The police department requests that nearby residents check security cameras during the hours in question and notify the agency at 708-352-7711 if they see anything suspicious.
