Job #1: Numbers Too Big To Rig In November

Remember Viktor Orbán in Hungary and his defeat? Yeah, let’s do that model right here in November.

Viktor Orban, the former prime minister of Hungary, successfully stayed in power for sixteen years by running a fascist and authoritarian-style government, including deep corruption and cruelty.

Sound familiar?

But, as is often the case, people organized, worked hard, and overcame evil.

As a refresher, Viktor Orbán conceded the April 2026 election because the opposition won an overwhelming, undeniable landslide with record-breaking voter turnout that completely overwhelmed his regime’s systemic and corrupt advantages.[1, 2, 3]

As detailed by POLITICO, Orbán’s 16-year rule ended when Péter Magyar and the center-right Tisza party captured over 53% of the vote compared to Fidesz’s 39%, securing a constitutional supermajority. [1, 2, 3]

In other words, the turnout made it impossible to rig the vote.

The Defeat Was Too Large to Deny

• Record Turnout: Voter turnout reached nearly 78%, the highest since the fall of communism. This massive wave of voters broke through the barriers of state control. [1, 2, 3]
• The Rigging Backfired: Orbán had previously rewritten election rules to give bonus seats to plurality winners in local districts, expecting Fidesz to always win them. Instead, the unified opposition swept 92 of 105 direct constituencies, turning his own rigged bonus-seat system against him. [1, 2]
• No Credible Deniability: The margin of defeat was so wide and public participation so high that trying to steal or reject the count would have caused an immediate and unmanageable national crisis.

Why Voters Turned Against Him

• Economic Pain: High inflation, economic stagnation, and decaying public services made daily life hard for ordinary citizens. [1, 2]

That is the lesson for November 3rd. We do not need a narrow win. We need a number so large that no lawsuit, no election certification malfeasance, no delay, and no legal maneuver can touch it.

What The Data Tells Us

Turnout in recent elections has already shown what is possible. In 2020, more than 158 million Americans voted, the highest turnout in over a century by percentage of eligible voters. In 2022, midterm turnout, according to Pew Research, reached 46 percent, a record for a non-presidential year. However, that number needs to be significantly higher to ensure an undeniable result.

Those numbers proved something important. When people believe their vote matters, they show up. But 2026 needs to go further. We should be aiming for 70 percent. It needs to break every record we have. Every county, every state, and every precinct needs turnout numbers that make headlines not for who won, but for how many people refused to stay home.

Why Timing Matters

Casting a ballot is only half the job. Casting it early, and casting it correctly, is what protects that vote from becoming a target.

Mail-in ballots that arrive late can be challenged, delayed, or thrown into legal limbo depending on the state. Every year, thousands of ballots get tossed simply because they were mailed too close to the deadline. This is not a hypothetical risk. It is a documented pattern that election law experts have flagged for years.

The solution is simple. Vote in person early wherever early voting is available. If mailing a ballot, get it into the system on the very first day it is allowed. Do not wait until the final week. Do not trust the postal system to move faster than a deadline. Beat the deadline instead of racing it.

The Power Of Overwhelming Numbers

When turnout is high enough, close margins disappear. Legal challenges lose their teeth. Claims of fraud become laughable against a backdrop of tens of millions of verified votes. This is not about one party or one candidate. It is about protecting the integrity of the process itself.

A rigged election needs closeness to survive. It needs doubt, confusion, and a margin thin enough to exploit. A landslide leaves no room for that kind of manipulation. The bigger the number, the smaller the opportunity for anyone to twist the outcome.

This is the moment to treat voting like the urgent civic duty it is. Every single vote counts, and every single voter has the power to add to a number so large it becomes undeniable.

Do not wait for November 3rd to feel like a deadline looming over you. Vote early. Vote in person if you can. If mailing your ballot, send it right now, not later.

The lesson from Hungary is simple and it applies here just as strongly. When the numbers are big enough, no system built to deny the will of the people can stand against them.

Let this be the election where turnout breaks every record in American history. Let the numbers be so overwhelming that no court, no lawsuit, and no bad actor can touch them.
