Junior Grand Marshal Contest Winner Chosen

The La Grange Art League recently chose the winner of the La Grange Pet Parade coloring contest. The winner, George Vergara from Laidlaw Elementary, will ride in the parade in his own convertible and be celebrated as the Junior Grand Marshal of the parade. The coloring contest was open to local children in grades K-6. The La Grange Art League held a reception on Saturday, March 31, to celebrate the winner and the honorable mentions that included the following children: Grace Downs, Reagan Stukenberg, Owen Kachmarik and Hannah Lemke.
