La Grange Area Church Victim Of Suspicious Activity: Cops
Police have received three reports from the church in the last couple of weeks.
LA GRANGE PARK, IL – A La Grange Park church has been the victim of suspicious activity at least three times in the last couple of weeks, police said.
Between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 2 p.m. Wednesday, someone entered The Village Church, 1150 Meadowcrest Road, by throwing a landscape brick through a window on the northeast corner of the church, police said in a news release.
A shoe smear was seen on an office chair next to the broken window, police said. Nothing appeared to be stolen.

The police have taken two other reports of suspicious activity within the last couple of weeks.
One incident took place before a church service, police said. In another incident, it appeared a door was left unsecured after hours, with nothing reported missing, police said.

Police are asking neighbors to check their security camera footage for potential video of the most recent incident.
