La Grange Cops Chase Theft Suspect: Report
In another case, cash was stolen from an unlocked car, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:
Retail theft
- A man stole merchandise about 3:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at Walgreens, 2 N. La Grange Road. When officers found the man, he dropped the bags of items and ran away.

- An employee at Grayhill Inc., 561 W. Hillgrove Ave., told police that $350 in cash was stolen from her unlocked car. An investigation continues.
Stolen bike
- A bicycle was reported stolen Nov. 19 from an unlocked garage in the 400 block of South La Grange Road. It was valued at $1,200.
Storage unit theft

- Golf clubs were reported stolen from a storage unit Nov. 20 at 405 Shawmut Ave. They were valued at $2,200.
Porch piracy
- A resident in the 1000 block of South La Grange Road reported receiving a notice about a package being delivered to him. When he looked for the package, it was stolen. The empty, open box was discovered in the dumpster behind the building. The contents were valued at $100. The report was filed Nov. 22.
