La Grange Man Accused of Battery In Town: Cops

In another case, someone burglarized an unlocked, open garage in a local neighborhood, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:

Battery

  • A 24-year-old man who lives in the 10 block of East Avenue in La Grange was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Saturday on Plainfield Road on a battery charge. Patch has filed a public records request for the report.

Burglary

  • A lawn mower, batteries and a charger were stolen from an unlocked, open garage in the 100 block of Sawyer Avenue. The value of the stolen items was $250. The report was filed Aug. 24.

Disorderly conduct

  • A roommate made verbal threats against the other via cellphone in the 900 block of South La Grange Road. The report was filed Aug. 29.
