In another case, fireworks may have caused a small fire on public property.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Monday. Here is the information from the reports:

Domestic battery

  • A 38-year-old La Grange man who lives in the 200 block of Hayes Avenue was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at his house on a domestic battery charge.

Fire

  • A small fire was reported about 1:30 a.m. Oct. 19 on a soccer field next to Gurrie Middle and Spring Avenue Elementary schools, which are at 1001 S. Spring Ave. Fireworks were found nearby. Police have no suspects.

Stolen bike

  • An unlocked bicycle was reported stolen Oct. 13 from a bike rack near Walgreens, 2 N. La Grange Road.

  • Two packages were reported stolen Oct. 18 from a front porch in the 500 block of South Kensington Avenue. They were valued at $300.
