La Grange Man Accused Of Domestic Battery

In other cases, political signs were stolen from two yards, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Monday. Here is information from the reports:

Domestic battery

  • A 45-year-old La Grange man who lives in the 800 block of South 12th Avenue was arrested about 9 a.m. Thursday at his house on charges of domestic battery and interference with reporting of domestic violence.

  • Political signs were reported stolen Oct. 11 from a yard in the 10 block of South Stone Avenue. One was reported taken Oct. 18 in the 1000 block of South Catherine Avenue. Police did not indicate the messages on the signs.

Bicycle stolen

  • An unlocked bicycle was reported stolen Oct. 27 in the 10 block of East Ogden Avenue. It was valued at $400.

DUI

  • A 41-year-old Westchester man was arrested on charges of DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, no insurance, and expired plates or sticker. The incident occurred about 8 a.m. Oct. 11 at Ogden and Ashland avenues, police said.
  • A 55-year-old La Grange man who lives in the 700 block of East Maple Avenue was arrested on charges of DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and an expired driver's license. The incident occurred about 1:30 a.m. Sept. 27 in the 500 block of East Avenue.
