La Grange Man Points Gun At Woman: Cops
Local officers deployed ballistic shields when they showed up at the man's home, according to a police report.

LA GRANGE, IL – A man who was apparently angry about singing and dancing in his apartment a couple of weeks ago placed a handgun on a woman's head and threatened her, La Grange police said.
Police were called about 12:30 a.m. Dec. 30 to the Uptown La Grange Apartments, 31 E. Ogden Ave.
They were told that a man, identified as 24-year-old Daniel Maldonado, aimed a gun at another person in the apartment, according to a police report obtained through a public records request from Patch.

Police said a woman was dancing with someone else when Maldonado emerged from his bedroom. He said, "Get the f--- out of my house," according to the report.
The woman responded, "Why, what did we do? We are just dancing," police said.

The man then placed a black handgun on her right temple and said, "Get the f--- out or I'll shoot you," police said.
She told police she feared for her life and left the apartment crying, police said.
Officers showed up to the apartment knowing that a gun was involved. They said they deployed two ballistic shields.
Maldonado left the apartment in his boxers and was placed in handcuffs, police said.
Maldonado was charged with two felony counts of aggravated battery.
