La Grange Officer Dies After Health Issue: Village
He was known for his passion for animals and his sense of humor.
LA GRANGE, IL – Steven Rogers, a La Grange police officer, died Tuesday morning after suffering an off-duty health issue, the village said Wednesday.
He started with the police department in July 2004.
"For nearly 20 years, he served the La Grange community with great pride and professionalism," the village said in a statement. "He was a friend to many, passionate about animals, and known for his great sense of humor. Officer Rogers will be deeply missed."
