La Grange Park Ace Hardware Competes In Charity Christmas Display
The business took third place last year and won $3,000 for Lurie Children's Hospital.

LA GRANGE PARK, IL — The La Grange Park Ace Hardware is showing off its holiday by competing in a Christmas display competition. This is the second year the business has participated in the competition, and they took third place last year and won $3,000 for Lurie Children's Hospital.
Ace Hardware businesses throughout the country compete in the display competition and try to earn money for their local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
Manager Scott Grandchamp said they started to decorate the 6,000 square foot greenhouse and 4,000 square foot outside area, on Nov. 1. The store hosted an open house on Nov. 26, complete with Santa Claus, two elves and two live reindeer.

"This contest is not about La Grange Park Ace Hardware and our decorating," Grandchamp said. "It's all about the children and the families, it's for a cause."
If the La Grange Park Ace Hardware has the most votes at 11:59 p.m. Dec. 18, a $7,500 donation will be made in their name to to Lurie Children's Hospital.
