La Grange Park EMTs Help Deliver Baby
First responders reunify with the mother and her baby at fire station.

LA GRANGE PARK, IL – La Grange Park's first responders helped deliver a baby last month after they figured the mother would not make it to the hospital on time.
On April 4, La Grange Park paramedics were called to an apartment on Homestead Road, according to a news release from the La Grange Park Fire Department.
They determined that the baby would be delivered before the mother could be safely placed in an ambulance and taken to the emergency room, the release said. They decided it was best that the mother not be moved from the apartment's floor.
