LA GRANGE PARK, IL - La Grange Park Police Chief Ed Rompa will retire at the end of next week. Rompa leaves the La Grange Park Police Department with more than 20 years of service. He's been the chief since November 2014.
"I have enjoyed my entire police career in this village and I hope that I, and all my staff, have made your lives a little safer and better each day," Rompa said.
His last day on the job will be Friday, June 7. A cake and coffee reception is planned for 3-5 p.m. on the 7th in the La Grange Park board room.
