La Grange Park Resident Confronts Suspect: Cops
The suspect dropped a leaf blower and hopped a fence, La Grange Park police said.
LA GRANGE, IL – A La Grange Park resident saw a man leaving the resident's garage Sunday afternoon in the 300 block of North Waiola Avenue, police said.
About 3:30 p.m., the resident confronted the suspect. The suspect then dropped a leaf blower, hopped the fence and entered an older model silver four-door Chevrolet Impala, police said. The car was reported to have a mismatched door on the driver's side.
The suspect was described as black, about 30 years old, 5-foot-10, slender, and wearing a black hoodie and dark gray or black pants.

Miscellaneous power tools valued at $1,000 were stolen, police said.
