La Grange Pedestrian Gets Rough With Another: Cops

In another case, a concrete saw was stolen in a local neighborhood, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:

Battery

  • A man told police that as he was crossing the street, a person struck his shoulder in passing. They argued briefly before the other person continued walking. The incident occurred about 6:30 p.m. April 6 at La Grange Road and 47th Street.

Theft

  • Someone stole a person's purse, which contained credit cards, at a business at 515 S. La Grange Road. The cards were used fraudulently in Chicago. The theft was reported about 3 p.m. Thursday.
  • A concrete saw was reported stolen April 5 from a parked trailer in the 300 block of South Sunset Avenue. It was valued at $1,000
  • A bicycle was reported stolen April 8 from an open garage in the 400 block of South Catherine Avenue.

Fraud

  • A resident in the 400 block of Seventh Avenue told police Wednesday that someone took a pandemic relief loan in the resident's name. The resident suffered no financial loss.
