LA GRANGE, IL — La Grange is picking up leaves later this year because they fell later. Its leaf pickup program will be extended through Friday, Dec. 13, weather permitting.

According to a village news release, if crews need to plow snow, they will do their best to work around leaf piles. But the village said cleaning of snow from streets will be the priority.

As a reminder, leaves are generally collected every other week by the Public Works Department from each village street at no additional cost to residents, the village said. Leaves should not be bagged for disposal, and no yard waste stickers are required for this service, the release said.
