La Grange Police Find Aug. 16 Child Luring Incident to be Unfounded

The La Grange Police Department has determined that a potential child luring case on Aug. 16 is unfounded.

The person described as a suspicious man has been identified as ”a local developmentally disabled individual,” according to La Grange police.

An 8-year-old boy was at the playground at Waiola Park when his mother saw him walking northbound on Waiola Avenue with the unknown man. She yelled for her son to come home, and the man kept walking.
