LA GRANGE, IL – The La Grange Police Department is exceeding its overtime budget because of retirements and resignations, the village says.

On Monday, the Village Board plans to vote on $220,000 in overtime for the police.

The overtime is needed as officers cover various shifts because of vacancies and the training of newly hired police officers, according to a village memo.
