La Grange Police Seek Driver of Nissan That Barreled Over School Property
Police say the driver ran into a sign, a guardrail and left tire tracks on Spring Avenue School fields.

La Grange police are looking for the driver of a Nissan that hit a no-parking sign and a guard rail and then continued across Spring Avenue School property at about 11:10 a.m. Oct. 2.
The driver was traveling southbound on Kensington Avenue, went through the intersection at 52nd Street and hit the curb, then the no-parking sign, police said.
The Nissan continued across the sidewalks and hit a guard rail between the sidewalk and parking lot of Spring Avenue School, 1001 S. Spring Ave., leaving car parts behind from the collision.

Tire tracks continued south through the field and baseball diamond, turned left and exited onto Catherine Avenue, police said.
