La Grange Residents Arrested In Domestics: Cops
In one case, a man interfered with the victim's attempt to call 911, police said.
LA GRANGE, IL – Two La Grange residents were arrested in the last week on domestic battery charges, police said.
Cecilia Ewing, 33, was charged after she was involved in a fight with a household member, resulting in a minor injury, according to a police report. It happened about 9 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Seventh Avenue, police said.
In another incident, Joseph Truax, 23, was arrested after a fight, which happened about 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Seventh Avenue, police said. He is accused of interfering with the victim's attempt to call 911, drawing an additional charge of interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, police said.
