La Grange Traffic Light On Way As Part Of Bigger Project
The village reported some delays in the state Department of Transportation's project.
LA GRANGE, IL – The state's project at East Avenue and 47th Street in La Grange is expected to continue in March, with a traffic light on the way, an official said Monday.
The state Department of Transportation's work has experienced some delays because of utility issues, La Grange Village Manager Jack Knight said.
"(Utility) relocations are required before the contractor can proceed with drilling for a traffic signal foundation," Knight said at a Village Board meeting.
