La Grange Woman Arrested On Warrant: Cops

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the latest reports:

Warrant

• Alexandra Alvarez, 22, of La Grange, was arrested about 11 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of Sawyer Avenue on a Berwyn Police Department warrant. Police came into contact with her during a well-being check in an unrelated matter.

Weapons charge

• Calvin Coleman, 59, of Bellwood, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Monday at 52nd Street and Sixth Avenue on a charge of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. During a traffic stop for an unrelated offense, a loaded gun was found in the console.

DUI

• Ivan Juarez, 43, of Chicago, was arrested about 7 p.m. Oct. 30 at Ogden and Washington avenues on a charge of DUI. Officers responded to a crash at La Grange Road and 55th Street. Through an investigation and conversation with Juarez, police said they determined he was under the influence of alcohol.

Early morning construction

• Police received a complaint that construction was taking place about 6:30 a.m. Thursday in the 10 block of South La Grange Road. The village code bars construction before 7 a.m.
