Nazareth Academy is proud to announce that Julia Saunders has officially signed her Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic pursuits at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Julia Saunders, who made her verbal commitment to Wisconsin as a Nazareth sophomore, has been a four-year Varsity starter for Nazareth’s Girls Volleyball team. She has been honored as an East Suburban Catholic Conference All Conference player three years in a row, in addition to multiple All Tournament honors. Earlier this year she was ranked 71 of the best USA-based recruits in Girls Volleyball (seniors) from across the nation as voted on by college coaches and published by Prepvolleyball. The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) also included Julia on the third team of the ninth annual Under Armour Girls High School All-America Teams.

In addition to her presence on the court, Julia is an A-Honor Roll student, who excels in her rigorous Advanced Placement classes. In fact, Julia has already been named an AP Scholar based on the work she did as a junior at Nazareth Academy.
