'Large Booms': La Grange Park Arrests Man

A man was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting an officer and discharging fireworks, police said.

LA GRANGE PARK, IL – A man was arrested Tuesday morning in La Grange Park in connection with "large booms" or mortar-style fireworks over the last few weeks in a local neighborhood, police said.

Police said their investigation led them to the 1100 block of Homestead and Barnsdale roads.

They arrested a 30-year-old Cicero man on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing a police officer. He was also charged with discharging fireworks, an ordinance violation.
