Leadership Conference to Be Offered by West Suburban Youth Service Agency

The LeaderShop will proudly offer its High School Leadership Conference again this year for 9-12th graders from local high schools. This day-long event, on Saturday, November 14, will include two motivational speakers, a performance group, team-building activities and group discussions. The goal of this year’s High School Leadership Conference is to encourage participants to find their voice and “Speak Out” about issues they find important. This empowering event will allow students to discuss leadership skills, motivation, diversity, and other teen-related issues and will include team-building, large group activities, and small group discussions. The conference will prepare students to make decisions necessary to plan and implement successful local and/or national service projects during the school year and will introduce them to new youth and positive adult role models who all share a passion for positive change.
