Lion artists recognized at local competition

Seventeen Lyons Township High School artists were recently recognized at the 15th annual Elmhurst College High School Art Show. Hundreds of pieces of art work in a variety of categories, including painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, computer design, and jewelry were exhibited by students representing 10 area high schools.

During the exhibition, students visited the College’s art studios and toured its collection of art.

All of the awards were judged in agreement by a panel of jurors, with the exception of the Gold awards, which were given individually by the jurors.
