Congratulations to Lyons Township High School’s Car Care Club for their 3rd place finish in the Universal Technical Top Tech Challenge on February 6. This competition was available to the entire state and was made up of 22 teams. A total of six LT students competed. It was the team of seniors Ryan Fox, of Brookfield, and Ben Huffman, of LaGrange, who placed third for the overall most skilled team. Both seniors were awarded with $250 scholarships. They were tested in the areas of automotive service excellence, digital multimeter diagnosis, scan tool usage/diagnostics, and brake diagnostics. The Lyons Township Car Care Team is led by Automotive Tech teacher Jordan Engelhardt.
