LT Model UN team up with VFW

Lyons Township High School senior and Model UN Club President Xander Allison, of LaGrange Highlands, accepts a check for $382.52 from Western Springs VFW post member Bruce Harken. Every year, Model UN helps the VFW sell poppies, which support veterans and honor the fallen. In return, the VFW splits the earnings with the club. LTMUN will use the money to help offset club expenses. Be on the lookout this spring as Model UN members once again help sell veteran poppies.
