LT to present "Story Theatre" this weekend

Friday, Oct 17 at 6pm, Saturday, Oct 18 at 7pm and Sunday, Oct 19 at 3pm

The Lyons Township High School Theatre Board proudly presents “Story Theatre,” a collection of Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm and Aesop’s Fables as adapted by Paul Sills. Faculty member Ann Dudek is the director of the freshmen/sophomore show. Junior Juan Ortega is the assistant director.

“Story Theatre,” is a collection of delicious tales, where a simpleton outwits, animals outsmart, and a master thief and clever peasant out maneuver. Things are not always as they seem. Not everyone can be trusted, and always be careful for what you ask.

Performances are scheduled for Friday, October 17, at 6pm (updated time), Saturday, October 18, at 7pm, and Sunday, October 19, at 3pm in the South Campus Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children and senior citizens, and free for LTHS students with ID. Tickets may be purchased in the box office before the show. The theatre opens 30 minutes before the show starts. The show starts promptly and latecomers will be seated between scenes.
