The Lyons Township High School Theatre Board proudly presents “So adjective You’ll verb 5; Bride of the evil clown name !” Faculty member Mike Kuehl is the director of this evening of comedy improvisation. Based loosely on “Comedy Sportz,” this show will be an evening of competitive improvisational comedy. Think “Whose Line is it Anyway” with real points. Two teams will battle it out for the audience’s laughs by participating in various improv games. While the first half of the show is competitive, the second portion is devoted to long form improvisation in which a small group will try to create a short play.
Performance dates are Thursday, September 19, at 7pm, Friday, September 20, at 3:30pm and 7pm, and Saturday, September 21, at 7pm in the South Campus Performing Arts Center, 4900 S. Willow Springs Rd., Western Springs. Tickets are $10 and $5 for children and senior citizens. Tickets may be purchased in the box office before the show. The theatre opens 30 minutes before the show starts. The show starts promptly and latecomers will not be seated.
