LTHS to bring Santa home for the holidays
Holiday Write Night is scheduled for Tuesday, December 4 from 4-6:30pm at South Campus.

Lyons Township High School has established a direct link to the North Pole via the computer. Children, aged kindergarten through third grade, are invited to South Campus, 4900 S. Willow Springs Rd., Western Springs, to write letters to Santa on Discovery Center computers and receive an immediate response from the North Pole!
A Nutcracker Christmas is the theme for this year’s Write Night and is scheduled for Tuesday, December 4, South Campus Discovery Center and surrounding classrooms. Participants and their families may drop in anytime between 4-6:30p.m. There is no admission charge, but in the spirit of the season, a donation of one non-perishable food item is requested. All food will be donated to a local food pantry.
Write Night will include a story room, coloring room, and face-painting room. Children get their pictures taken with LT’s mascots, Noil and Nessie, and create a personalized holiday card on the computer. Enjoy cupcake decorating, stories about Christmas around the world, sing-alongs. Entertainment and refreshments by LT students.

This Holiday Write Night is designed to provide a community service activity where nearly 500 high school students interact with elementary/early childhood children. It is hosted by the LTHS Discovery Center Staff.
