LTHS helps kids connect to Santa
Hundreds of children, aged kindergarten through third grade, composed letters to Santa at LT's Holiday Write Night
Lyons Township High School recently established a direct link to the North Pole via the computer. Hundreds of children, aged kindergarten through third grade, composed letters to Santa on Discovery Center computers and received an immediate response from the North Pole!
LT’s Holiday Write Night hosted a story room, coloring room, face-painting room, and cupcake decorating room all staffed by LT elves. Children took pictures with LT’s mascot, Noil and Nessie, and created a personalized holiday card on the computer. They also recorded a holiday message that will be heard on WLTL radio and enjoyed punch and cookies, as well as musical entertainment provided by LT students.
