LTHS Official Remotely Attends Last 2 Meetings
She has not answered questions about whether she will serve out her term.

LA GRANGE, IL – Julie Swinehart, a Lyons Township High School board member, has been connected remotely to the last two board meetings.
That's not a big deal. Much business is being connected virtually these days, especially after the pandemic.
Under state law, it's legal for members of a public body to be connected remotely to a meeting. At Monday's meeting, board President Kari Dillon said Swinehart was away because of work. Swinehart has attended every other meeting this year in person, except the last two.

On Patch's comment boards, some have said Swinehart does not plan to serve her entire term, prompting Patch's questions.
Swinehart is the executive vice president and chief financial officer for the Boston-based Fenway Sports Group, which runs the Boston Red Sox.
Swinehart was previously the chief financial officer and treasurer for Retail Properties of America.
If Swinehart leaves before her term is up, the other board members get to appoint her replacement.
In Illinois, board members are unpaid.
