"I was part of the French Club when I was a student here, and one of the greatest things we had was going downtown to a French restaurant. Polish Club is no different," Piotrowski said.
According to school documents, the club helps students develop skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, leadership and collaboration.
In another action, the board increased the stipends for the Robotics Team's head coach and assistant coach, who are set to make $7,758 and $5,541, respectively.
The group's membership has increased in the last few years. Now, the team is entering competitions against other schools, including at the state and national levels.
The stipends are in line with other competitive clubs, the school said.
