LTHS Student Hit By Car Outside School Building: Principal

The school shared information on the crash with employees.

LA GRANGE, IL – A Lyons Township High School student was hit by a car Wednesday as he was leaving North Campus, the school said in an internal email.

In a message to staff early Wednesday evening, Principal Jennifer Tyrrell said the crash happened on the east side of the Vaughan building on Brainard Avenue. The student was seriously injured and taken to the hospital, she said.

La Grange police are investigating, she said.
