LTHS students to participate in mock election
On Mock Election Day, Tuesday, October 23, voting will take place at both campuses in the cafeterias during all lunch periods
Lyons Township High School students will have the opportunity to participate in a mock election to help promote awareness of voting importance, voting procedures and election issues that impact young adults.
On Mock Election Day, Tuesday, October 23, voting will take place at both campuses in the cafeterias during all lunch periods using voting booths provided by the County Clerk’s Office and with the assistance from the League of Women Voters of the LaGrange Area.
On the ballot, students will vote for Illinois Governor and Lieutenant Governor, as well as Illinois Attorney General. All results will be tabulated and announced by the end of the school day.
