Lyons Township High School teachers will be learning something new on Thursday, April 3, when they assist the crew at Corner Bakery Café during LTHS Teacher Night for College Scholarships, an effort to raise money and build awareness for the La Grange Business Association’s scholarship program.
From 5 - 8 PM, LTHS teachers will work alongside La Grange Corner Bakery Café employees as food runners and greeters. The Corner Bakery Café will donate 15% of the event sales to the LGBA’s scholarship fund. Customers must present a flier, show the offer on their mobile device or mention Teacher Night for College Scholarships when ordering. The offer is good for the entire day including catering orders.
The La Grange Business Association launched the annual scholarship fund to honor hardworking LTHS students who also play a role in the community by working part time at an LGBA member business.
The La Grange Corner Bakery Café is located at 39 N. La Grange Road. Patrons must present a Teacher Night flyer, show it on their mobile device, or mention the offer in order for the scholarship fund to benefit. The event flyer may be downloaded at lgba.com.
