Lutheran Schools Week

Lutheran Schools Week is  Jan. 26th through Feb. 1st. It is one of the most exciting weeks of the year at St. John’s partly because we celebrate the privilege of being a Lutheran school and partly because of the many activities that are planned.  From preschool through middle school, all students will be involved in many cool things to do during the week.

National Lutheran Schools Week provides our network of nearly 2,300 LCMS preschools, elementary schools and high schools with the public opportunity to proclaim and celebrate God’s work among us in Lutheran schools. We thank God for the opportunity to provide excellent academic preparation for the children we serve. We are most grateful for the opportunity to share Jesus’ amazing love with children and their families. National Lutheran Schools Week gives us an opportunity to proclaim these great blessings within the communities we serve. The theme for 2014 is Witness Always - Raising Up Faithful Disciples. Our schools are amazing incubators for faithful witness of God’s love for us through Christ by teachers and students alike.

Kicking off the week St. John's Lutheran students will be attending Concordia University at the National Lutheran Schools Week Rally with hundreds of other Lutheran school students. Among the students joining us will be Pastor Geis who will be the chapel speaker that day.

God has blessed St. John’s for over 125 years and we are so grateful for the opportunity to teach and serve families with incredible children. We thank all who support and encourage us in this vital mission of Raising up Faithful Disciples.
