Lyons Township Soccer Club - MLS Academy Elite.

The Academy Elite program has a new format! Players in the Academy Elite U6-U12 program will now have the opportunity to sign up for their favorite MLS teams to play in a small-sided 4v4 league. Each team has a maximum of 6 roster spots. Players can sign up either in groups or individually (free agents), and free agents will be placed on an open MLS team roster. Each player will receive the MLS uniform kit of their MLS team. Teams may include: Chicago Fire, LA Galaxy, New York Red Bulls, etc.

Players will have one weekly technical practice session taught by an LTSC professional licensed coach. These practices will be mixed with all teams and players within their age group. Players will learn basic soccer skills such as dribbling, 1v1 moves, passing, etc. Parents will then have the opportunity to coach their child’s team during the small sided 4v4 games using the game curriculum and instructions given to them by LTSC professionally licensed coaches.
