Magic Wok In La Grange Closes At End Of June

The restaurant, which was established in 1977, will close at the end of this month.

LA GRANGE, IL — Magic Wok, a restaurant that has provided La Grange with Chinese cuisine for 40 years will close at the end of June. The family owned and operated restaurant was established in 1977 by Raymond and Grace Lee and Tommy Ng.

According to a release, the restaurant was originally located at 50 S. La Grange Road, but moved to 23 W. Harris Avenue in 1991. It was also one of the first establishments to hold a liquor license in La Grange when the village approved liquor sales in the mid-1980s.

Magic Wok's final day of business will be on Friday, June 30.
